The Toronto Leaside Wildcats are pleased to announce that Kim McCullough has been appointed head coach of the 2014-15 Toronto Leaside Jr. Wildcats. The Jr. Wildcats will be entering their third year of play in the Provincial Women’s Hockey League (PWHL). McCullough is presently the Wildcats’ Midget AA coach, a position she has held for two seasons. McCullough has coached at the top level with a number of organizations and on behalf of the Province of Ontario over the past five seasons including: Head Coach Team Ontario Blue U18 Nationals (2013); Head Coach Toronto Leaside BAA (12-13 & 11/12); Assistant Coach, Team Ontario Red U18 Nationals (2012); Head Coach Ontario Winter Games (2012); Associate Coach Toronto Aeros MAA (11-12); Assistant Coach Markham-Stouffville Stars IAA (10-11).
McCullough is certified with Hockey Canada High Performance 2 Coaching; necessary for all coaches involved in high performance coaching at the U18 and Senior levels, nationally.
McCullough played her Bantam, Midget and Intermediate hockey as a Toronto Leaside Wildcat, before heading to Dartmouth (NCAA Division 1) on a hockey scholarship.
The balance of the Jr. Wildcats coaching staff will be announced in the New Year. At that same time, a complete program plan will be added to the Jr.Wildcats website.
At this time, the Toronto Leaside Wildcats would like to thank Annie Fahlenbock for her leadership in the first two seasons of our IAA team. Fahlenbock will continue to work with the Toronto Leaside Wildcats organization in the 14-15 season; working in an instructional role with a number of our teams in the Novice through Midget tiers. Details of her role(s) will be communicated when our full competitive slate is announced in the New Year.
