From August 2nd to 11th, two former members of the Toronto-Leaside Junior Wildcats, Kristin Della Rovere and Alex Woods, participated in the Team Canada Summer Showcase in Calgary, Alberta. Both players were selected based on their tremendous success this past season. Woods, a defenseman, was a key part of the St Thomas University women’s hockey team winning their first ever AUS Championship title and was named as an AUS 1st Team All-Star.  Della Rovere, a forward, had a stellar rookie season at Harvard University, finishing 2nd overall in total points and 1st overall in goal scoring, and was named ECAC …

On Sunday April 14th, over 60+ young Wildcats players came out to the Toronto-Leaside Junior Wildcats’ Spring Skills Fundraiser and the day was a great success. The young players received personal instruction from the Junior players and got a tour of the Junior team dressing room afterwards.  The Junior Wildcats would like to thank all the novice, atom, peewee players and bantam Wildcats for coming out and making it such a fun day on the ice.  More pictures from the event can be found on the Gallery page of this website.
